Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this technological era the people are more found of the online settings rather than enjoying the place the way they should. In upcoming paragraph i will elaborate positive and negative impacts on this trend.
To begin with taking photograph without looking at the place its totally wasting the time and money as well. In added that the people should think about why they go there in a first place and the answer is to enjoy with family and explore the beauty and nature of this famous place with the their loved once. As people think that going there and take a pictures and post it on a social media and create a reels for others that they can see, however they are forgetting themselves that its not gonna be enjoyable when they gone home and then looking at this of beauty in their phone they are not gonna remember instead of they should first enjoy the scenic view, the native people of that place, the history and so on after that they can take a photos for memories.
Moreover their are advantages as well that they are gonna forget the place in some times but the photos are for the lifetimes and whenever they are gonna sees the photos and videos it will jogging up their memories and they are gonna remembered how they are young and they explored this kind of the beauty.
To conclude my view i can say that in this social cohesion and this face paced world people are more and more attract the thinking of the taking photos without being enjoy first and then the time pass they are gonna regret but looking at the photos they can see that and its will for the lifetimes and their children and grand children can see this photos and find themself with them.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and whether it is positive or negative. However, the development is somewhat superficial. While you mention social media and the desire for memories, the arguments lack depth and specific examples. The position is clear, but the discussion of the 'positive' aspect is quite brief and repetitive. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully extended with more detailed reasoning or illustrative examples, rather than simply stating the idea.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow is often hindered by awkward phrasing and repetitive sentence structures. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with' and 'Moreover', but they are sometimes applied mechanically or incorrectly (e.g., 'In added that'). Referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the progression of ideas. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each sentence builds logically upon the previous one would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'good', 'beauty', and 'place'. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and collocation, such as 'jogging up their memories' instead of 'jogging my memory' or 'triggering memories', and 'the people are more found of' instead of 'fond of'. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the reliance on simple vocabulary restrict the score. Expanding your range to include more topic-specific collocations would be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('the people are more found of'), article usage ('the beauty'), and sentence structure ('its not gonna be enjoyable when they gone home'). The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at more complex sentences often result in errors that can impede the reader's understanding. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of commas and apostrophes. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors would help improve your accuracy.
