Student answer (Band 5.5)

In recent time majority of individuals visit popular place to making video of them as well take only pictures rather than enjoy the place and seeing that. In my opinion it is negative impact on the place and why should i believe that i will explain my all view points further.

First and foremost reason for that is people want became influencer and became popular in mean time. To visiting popular place they were just making video of the place apart from the know that place. they just took picture of post in social medias but in actually they were not about actual thing about the place like why it famous for and why people were visit that as compared to other places. For instance, one of famous influencer just explore that for his content but in actual if we ask him why he visit that place and what is the famous site at their he was not aware about that.

Moreover, people visit the popular place because of some of their relative or friends being there few time ago. They not visit the place for views and their history they just want to do compare with other person and influence by them.

However, in my opinion it is negative thing to do that. People have to visit that place and know more about that particular their culture and history as well. I am not against to took photos and videos but every people know about that place where they were visit.

To conclude, every person wants to became famous personality so they were visit the place for picture rather than knowing it as well as they believe in comparison with other person and show off also but it was not great thing to do, people also have to enjoy that place rather than taking only pictures.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the opinion on whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is limited. For example, the explanation regarding influencers is repetitive and lacks depth, and the second reason regarding peer pressure is somewhat underdeveloped. While a clear position is maintained throughout, the arguments are presented in a simplistic manner, which prevents the response from reaching a higher band. To improve, you should provide more specific, well-reasoned examples and ensure that each paragraph fully explores the 'why' behind your claims rather than repeating the same point in different words.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'in mean time' or 'apart from the know that place'. The progression of ideas is sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing, making the logical flow feel disjointed. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly when using pronouns like 'they' or 'that'. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'nevertheless') and ensure that each sentence connects logically to the one preceding it.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'popular place', 'visit', and 'thing'. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'in recent time' instead of 'recently' and 'became influencer' instead of 'become an influencer'. Some phrases are non-standard, which occasionally makes the meaning difficult to grasp. To achieve a higher score, you need to expand your range of vocabulary to include more precise, topic-specific terms related to tourism, social media, and cultural heritage, and pay closer attention to correct word forms and collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are attempts at complex sentences, they are frequently marred by grammatical errors, such as 'they were just making video' (tense error) and 'every people know' (subject-verb agreement). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing commas and run-on sentences. These errors are frequent and sometimes impede the reader's understanding. To improve, you should practice using a wider variety of complex structures, such as relative clauses and conditional sentences, while ensuring that basic subject-verb agreement and tense consistency are maintained.
