Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this social media driven world increasing number of tourists are choosing to capture themself rather than actually enjoying beauty or cultural significance when they visit to well known spots. I believe this is partially a negative trend and I will be discussing causes behind it along with reasoning to support my thinking in the upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with the factors leading to this development. In this social media driven society peer often feel pressure to click pictures for platforms such as, Instagram and Facebook. If you have posted pictures from various places around the world it is a way to showoff among near and dear ones. Moreover, development in smart phones offered convinience. In other words, nowadays all cell phones comes with infused front as well as back camera with great a resolution power which have provided youngsters with convinence to click photo at their finger tips that too at any place and time.
This trend has few negative aspects. Firstly, people usually forget to appriciate the places which offers knowledge. For instance, the museums where the purpose is to educate public about history whereas travellers are busy clicking photos in their cell phones. Secondly, people unknowingly can hurt religious and cultural significance of places like temples, mosques and forts. These places are meant for worshipping. Whereas, clicking photos can also be a good way to capture good memories. Not only one can relieve old memories but also served as a source of information about that particular place.
To conclude, Although there is no harm in capturing memories through photographs but one should evaluate correct place and time and also enjoy the moment they are in.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the evaluation of whether it is positive or negative. The position is clear from the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. While the reasons regarding social media pressure and technological convenience are relevant, the discussion on the negative aspects is slightly contradictory; you mention that photography can be a good way to capture memories, which weakens your argument that it is a negative trend. To reach a higher band, ensure that your supporting arguments remain focused on your stated position throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'To conclude', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are a bit mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the third paragraph where the shift between negative impacts and the benefits of photography feels abrupt. Improving the flow between sentences within paragraphs would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'cultural significance', 'infused', and 'appreciate'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'click pictures' (take photos), 'showoff' (show off), and 'convinience' (spelling error). Additionally, the phrase 'infused front as well as back camera' is unnatural. To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and ensure you are using the correct word forms in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('peer often feel', 'cell phones comes') and punctuation errors (e.g., the comma after 'such as'). Some sentences are slightly awkward, such as 'the museums where the purpose is to educate public'. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. Focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy.
