Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for the trend and whether it is positive or negative. However, the development is limited. While you mention the desire for internet fame and economic benefits, the arguments lack depth and specific, well-explained examples. The example regarding the Dubai Frame is vague, and the discussion on Germany is difficult to follow due to unclear phrasing. To reach a higher band, you need to expand on your ideas with more logical progression and clearer supporting evidence. The position is identifiable, but the overall development is somewhat superficial.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the progression of ideas is often disjointed. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Moreover' and 'To illustrate', but they are sometimes used incorrectly or in a way that makes the sentences feel mechanical. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the third paragraph where the connection between the 'green evolution' and the specific location is confusing. The concluding paragraph is also quite difficult to follow, which hinders the overall flow of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'wll-known', 'futher paragharps', 'Garmeny', and 'bulid bright'. These errors sometimes make it difficult to understand the intended meaning. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'economy' and 'appreciation', the lack of precision and the high frequency of spelling mistakes significantly impact the clarity of your writing. You need to focus on using more accurate terminology and improving your spelling to convey your ideas more effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'people wanted to become', 'economy will be automatically increase'), incorrect article usage, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'the pro of clicking trend picture'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, which affects the readability of the essay. While some complex structures are attempted, they are often faulty, leading to a lack of clarity. To improve, you should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
