In this essay, I believe to an certain extent of it being negative influence especially the young generation.
To commence with, undoubtedly, tours and trips break the monotony of life. People often plan to go on excursion along with their friends and families to rejuvenate themselves from the routine schedule. Despite the fact, people tend to forget the sanity principles of the place by hampering rules and regulations set by the government. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the evaluation of whether it is positive or negative. The position is clear from the introduction, and the ideas are relevant. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the explanation of why people take photos is brief, and the discussion on the negative impact could be more deeply explored. While the essay covers the requirements, the arguments lack the depth and nuance expected at higher bands. The suggestion to ban digital devices is a bit extreme and lacks practical justification, which slightly weakens the overall persuasiveness of the argument.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a progression of ideas from the introduction to the body paragraphs and the conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To commence with', 'However', and 'To recapitulate', though some transitions feel slightly mechanical or forced. Referencing is generally clear, but there are instances where the flow between sentences could be smoother. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the introduction, body, and conclusion, which helps the reader follow the argument effectively.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'monotony', 'rejuvenate', 'proliferated', and 'equilibrium'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'sanity principles' (likely meant 'sanctity'), 'realm places' (unclear meaning), and 'flaunt about their lifestyle'. While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a lack of precision. A wider range of precise vocabulary would be needed to reach a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'In the contemporary times' (unnecessary article), 'people people' (repetition), 'to an certain extent' (article error), and 'teaching their children about certain at a young age' (missing object). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are minor issues with comma usage. While the errors are noticeable, they do not prevent the reader from understanding the writer's message. More consistent control over complex structures is required for a higher score.
