Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this modern era more and more people are influenced by photographs and videos which is posted on online social media platforms which was visited by the social media influencers and people find it very interesting about those places, In my point of view i believe that some how it is negative trend and this essay will explain the reasons briefly in following paragraphs.
First of all , people should not influenced by social media influencers their life is completely different then the normal person they have name and fame with the help of that they can go where ever they want to go on the top of that they got collaboration money from the people of that places that they come and put some videos and photos about that places that people will influence by them and visit those places and this might be not beneficial for the people who does not even look at the places and just go with out having proper knowledge and idea , for instance , for celebrity visiting New York is the cheapest trip but while on the other hand visiting this place for normal person cost them fortune on the top of that for vegan options they might not find it anywhere but on the other hand celebrities they have their own chef with them with the help of it they do not find it difficult to eat any type of food.
There are numerous places which is not possible for normal person to visit if a person has money then it becomes easy for people to travel but if we do not have money and still we want to travel the photo inspired places might cause huge troubles in individuals life.
In the end , I would like to say that visiting places and travel makes individuals life happy but from the inspirational photos or videos might be deceptive for people and their personal experience might be not good.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: why this is happening (social media influence) and whether it is positive or negative. However, the development is somewhat limited. The explanation of why people visit places without looking at them is slightly repetitive, focusing heavily on the financial disparity between celebrities and normal people rather than the psychological aspect of 'performative' travel. The position is clear, but the arguments lack depth and specific, well-integrated examples. The essay would benefit from a more nuanced exploration of why the 'photograph' has become more important than the 'experience' itself, rather than focusing primarily on the cost of travel.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the flow is often hindered by run-on sentences and a lack of effective cohesive devices. Many sentences are joined by commas rather than full stops or appropriate conjunctions, such as '...social media influencers their life is completely different then the normal person they have name and fame...'. This makes the progression of ideas feel mechanical and sometimes confusing. While there is a basic attempt at paragraphing, the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks logical signposting, making it difficult for the reader to follow the argument's development smoothly. Referencing is also occasionally unclear.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There is a reliance on basic, repetitive phrasing such as 'people', 'places', and 'visit'. Some word choices are inaccurate, such as 'photo inspired places' or 'collaboration money'. There are also issues with collocation, such as 'put some videos' instead of 'post some videos'. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of variety and the presence of errors in word choice limit the score. To improve, you should aim to use more precise terminology related to social media, tourism, and personal experience.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, particularly regarding sentence structure, subject-verb agreement, and punctuation. Many sentences are 'run-on' sentences, where multiple independent clauses are joined incorrectly with commas. For example, '...there are numerous places which is not possible for normal person to visit if a person has money then it becomes easy...'. There are also errors with articles ('the normal person') and verb forms ('which is posted'). While simple sentences are generally understandable, the attempts at complex structures are often faulty, which significantly impacts the clarity of the writing.
