Student answer (Band 6.0)
These days majority of people like to go on famous places to click photos, without knowing about the place. In my opinion, it has both merits and demerits.
On the one hand, there are various reasons why i am considering it has a positive trend. Firstly, if people want to visit well-known places for taking pictures, they can alive these memories for long time in their life. For example, recently, we visited a famous city "Banff" which is most beautiful place in Canada because of its view and lake. I also clicked many pictures over there with my friends and family members so make a trip more memorable. Secondly, individual can also gain experience by visiting new places because every place has their own culture and tradition. As a result, they can enhance their knowledge and share with others.
On the other hand, this trend has some negative consequences for masses. while going on popular places can put them in trouble. There are various places where people can not entre without permission especially camping area in mountain sides. For instance, recently, I heard the news on the internet in Canada, someone goes to mountain areas with their friends, and he killed by bear.
Moreover, a number of places where people can visit only in particular time period due to extream weather conditions. Because these kind of places may be risky for visiting without searching before.
In conclusion, taking photography on popular places by people can be positive trend due to above mentioned reasons, but the negative impact of this can not be neglected due to several causes.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for the trend and whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention that taking photos helps 'alive these memories' (preserve memories), the explanation of why people ignore the place itself is underdeveloped. You touch upon the risks of visiting dangerous areas, but the connection between the desire for photos and the lack of awareness of the location could be more explicitly explored. To reach a higher band, ensure that your arguments are fully extended with more nuanced reasoning rather than just listing examples.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', 'On the one hand', and 'In conclusion' to guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'Because these kind of places may be risky for visiting without searching before', which lacks a clear link to the previous point. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a strong, unified focus would enhance the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'alive these memories' (instead of 'preserve' or 'cherish') and 'click photos' (which is informal; 'capture images' or 'take photographs' is better). You also use 'extream' (spelling error) and 'entre' (spelling error). To improve, focus on using more sophisticated collocations and ensuring accurate spelling of common academic vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Examples include 'majority of people like to go on famous places' (should be 'to famous places'), 'individual can also gain' (should be 'individuals can'), and 'he killed by bear' (should be 'he was killed by a bear'). Subject-verb agreement and article usage are inconsistent throughout the text. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic tense and article consistency.
