Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this contemporary era, there is most popular trend of visiting famous tourist place and take picture of their own: however, behalf of that they are not exploring beauty of place. There are number of causes are available to become trend famous. According to my point of view this is positive trend. In the upcoming paragraph I will explain the reasons and points that will support my view.
To begin with, group of people believe that visit well-known places and take picture, that is good thing. In addition, taking picture of themselves they are making memory and save it for later or they are positing on social media to become famous. Some people think that they will collect the pictures and pass tose picture generation to generation so their posterity know them recognize them. Moreover, few people are working in photography occupation so they visit different famous places to take picture for their profession. For example, one of my friend is blogger. Due to his profession, he make travel blog so he goes on national and international trips to create blog and publish on online platforms such as, Instagram, You Tube and TikTok.
This is positive trend because by the taking picture of themselves they are proving that person is more important rather than everything. They are promoting or motivating others, those are not happy with life, those who have lack of self esteem they will see those pictures on social media and take step to comeback towards life. Furthermore, people think that if they will share those picture on social platforms they will spread the right information and attract people towards the well-known places. For example, one chinese girl visit Taj Mahal and share her picture with the back part of taj mahal and the back part full with trash, government pay attention on that picture and they cleaned that part after 5 years that girl posted same place picture with the gratitude note.
To conclude this, taking picture is good thing and spread awareness in the society.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying reasons for the trend and expressing a clear position. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you provide examples, such as the blogger or the Taj Mahal anecdote, the reasoning behind why this is a 'positive' trend is not fully convincing or logically sound. For instance, the argument that taking photos promotes self-esteem is a bit tenuous and lacks depth. To reach a higher band, ensure your arguments are more robust and directly linked to the prompt's core issue of ignoring the actual location while photographing.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, and there is a basic attempt at logical progression. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'behalf of that' or 'To conclude this'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the flow between sentences can be disjointed. For example, the transition between the reasons for the trend and the evaluation of whether it is positive is abrupt. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and incorrect word choices, such as 'most popular trend of visiting' instead of 'a growing trend of visiting' and 'pass tose picture generation to generation'. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle with collocations. To improve, focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to tourism and social media, and pay closer attention to word forms and standard English collocations to ensure your meaning is conveyed more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include missing articles ('visit well-known places'), incorrect verb forms ('he make travel blog'), and problems with subject-verb agreement ('group of people believe'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to distract the reader. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles, before attempting more complex structures.
