Student answer (Band 6.0)
Undoubtedly, this world has a lot of beautiful places, some nations are famous for their mountains and other are for deserts. These days, majority of people are just taking photographs of themselves rather than looking at the famous places. This essay will explain the reason behind this negative trend.
The reason is very simple: nowadays everyone is active on social media, and to gain more followers, people post their photos. Consequently, one will get fame only if they have one or two daily posts on their social media platforms, like Instagram or Facebook. For example, if influencers are doing camping this is only because they want to create a vlog and increase their fan base, and they do not have any respect for the beauty of the places they have visited. If there would be more fan base, then it would be a passive source of income.
It is a negative trend, people are only in the rat race to achieve either fame or money. They are not enjoying the moments with their loved ones at well-known places. Moreover, deeply engaged people sometimes lose their lives because they are not paying attention to any hazards in their way while making a vlog. For example, every year thousands of influencers die, whether falling from a mountain or slipping into a river because they are totally indulged in filming themselves.
In conclusion, vloggers are not only disrespecting the beauty of the place but also losing their lives by not paying attention to the well-know areas. Although, it is good to earn money and followers but not at the cost of owns life. Be cautious and respectful when someone is visiting any popular places.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the evaluation of whether it is positive or negative. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention social media and the desire for fame, the explanation could be more nuanced. For instance, the link between 'passive income' and the behavior is mentioned but not fully explored. The examples provided, such as influencers dying while filming, are relevant but slightly repetitive in their focus on extreme cases. To reach a higher band, ensure that your arguments are more thoroughly extended with deeper analysis rather than relying on a few brief examples.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. There is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'consequently', 'moreover', and 'although' are used to link sentences and ideas effectively. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and the referencing could be more sophisticated. For example, the phrase 'deeply engaged people' is a bit vague in context. Overall, the paragraphing is appropriate, and the flow of the argument is easy to follow, meeting the requirements for a Band 6.5 or 7.0 level of organization.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'passive source of income', 'rat race', and 'indulged'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation. For instance, 'doing camping' is not natural English; 'going camping' would be more appropriate. Similarly, 'not paying attention to any hazards in their way' is understandable but could be phrased more precisely. The vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning clearly, but it lacks the flexibility and precision required for higher bands. Expanding your repertoire of collocations and idiomatic expressions would improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors that persist. For example, 'some nations are famous for their mountains and other are for deserts' should be 'others are for deserts'. The sentence 'If there would be more fan base' is grammatically incorrect; it should be 'If there were a larger fan base'. Additionally, there are minor punctuation and article errors, such as 'at the cost of owns life' instead of 'at the cost of one's own life'. These errors do not impede communication, but they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score.
