Student answer (Band 5.5)
There are numerous venue available to visit in world. In today's world, a substantial number of individuals go to renowned sites just to click their pictures, regardless exploring the location. In this essay, I am going to mention the reason behind this behaviour. However, in my perspective, it is a negative development because it adversely affect the growth of economy.
The first and foremost cause of this trend is social media influence. Nowadays, people spend plenty of time scrolling on mobile phone. Moreover, because of getting impressed by some certain photographs, they get eager to visit the particular place rather than personally search and select a destination as per their own choice. On top of that, in this modern era, a considerable number of youngsters are self consious, they prefer to not take any interest in history, whereas they find it fascinating visiting historical buildings and get their pictures clicked there.
According to me, it is definitely a pessimistic development. If people individuals only go out to get themselves photographed, the value of renowned locations will be demolished by time. For instance, if someone ask a person regarding a picture's destination, they cannot recommend it to anyone because of their particular mindset. Consequently, a significant amount of tourists will be reduced overtime. Apart from this, although people are mostly self-centered these days, while they also become selfish, if they keep on following such practices.
To recapitulate, no doubt owing to spend a major part of day on internet people are becoming photogenic. Events, it adversely affecting the worth of some significant locations which also have impact on economy.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by explaining why people visit well-known places merely for photographs and stating a clear perspective that it is a negative trend. The introduction outlines the writer's intent, and body paragraphs present reasons such as social media influence and self-consciousness. However, the development of ideas lacks depth in places. For instance, the claim that this trend adversely affects the economy is introduced in the introduction and conclusion, but the supporting argument in the body paragraph focuses more on a loss of tourist recommendations rather than a direct economic impact. The final sentences in the main body paragraphs are somewhat unclear and abrupt, notably 'Apart from this, although people are mostly self-centered these days, while they also become selfish, if they keep on following such practices.' Overall, the task is addressed, placing the response comfortably at Band 5.5 to 6.0, aligning best with Band 6.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphing, including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'The first and foremost cause', 'Moreover', and 'On top of that' are used to structure the text, though some transitions feel a bit mechanical. Referencing and logical progression are occasionally strained; for instance, the transition between sentences in the third paragraph becomes confusing due to awkward phrasing ('If people individuals only go out...'). Furthermore, the conclusion contains grammatical disruption that impedes smooth progression. Paragraphing is used sufficiently to separate the introduction, causes, and viewpoint, but internal cohesion requires better linking to achieve a higher band. These features correspond to a Band 6 score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'renowned sites', 'social media influence', and 'historical buildings'. However, there are several lexical errors and awkward word choices throughout the text. Examples include 'venue available' instead of 'venues available', 'regardless exploring' instead of 'without exploring', 'self consious' instead of 'self-conscious', and 'demolished by time' instead of 'lost over time' or 'forgotten'. The phrase 'becoming photogenic' in the conclusion is also misused, as it describes a person's appearance in photographs rather than a behavior. While communication is not severely impeded, these repeated vocabulary and collocation inaccuracies place the lexical resource firmly at Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, incorporating subordinate clauses introduced by 'because', 'although', and 'if'. However, grammatical accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in verb forms, prepositions, and sentence construction. Examples include 'There are numerous venue available', 'regardless exploring the location', 'some certain photographs', 'If people individuals only go out', and 'owing to spend a major part of day on internet'. Additionally, punctuation and sentence boundary issues appear, such as the fragment 'Events, it adversely affecting the worth...' in the concluding paragraph. These persistent errors can cause difficulty for the reader at times, matching the description for Band 5.0.
