Student answer (Band 6.0)

In recent times, people like to take photographs at famous places without looking at the place. The reason behind this is the advancement of social media, and they want to keep good memories as photographs. In my opinion, this is a positive development as this make feel up to date, and it also promotes tourism.

On the one hand, the advancement of social media is a powerful source to make anything viral. It is seen that a huge influx of people is noted when a place is shown on social media platforms through famous influencers. As there are many followers of these bloggers and vloggers, they make sure that each one of those visit such places, thus promoting tourism. On the other hand, people get these photographs as memories that give them a feeling of contentment. For instance, the Chicago Bean is a famous tourist attraction in Chicago, and many people love to take photos there and keep them as beautiful memories.

In my view, this is a positive trend because it increases tourism at a particular place. The government should take this as a way to increase tourism in empty places. This can be done if they use the power of social media by paying these famous influencers. As a result, a good amount of money can flow in, which can be used to repair, rebuild, and market the place. For example, this technique can be used to relaunch a maritime museum in Pakistan, which was closed due to a lack of money.

In conclusion, nowadays people want to visit famous spots because of the growth of social media. This is a positive trend as people feel happy with the best memories they make, and it also leads to the expansion of tourism.
