Student answer (Band 5.5)
The current generation is addicted take photographs and publish them social media to gain views. This led to recent increase in travelling to famous places to take pictures of themselves instead of viewing the place. As mentioned earlier, one of the major reasons is to gain more views on social media and earn money. According to my opinion this is a negative trend.
Younger people find it more difficult learn new things and build their career from the zero. Because they want earn money from the short cuts and they do not to depend on their parents or gurdiants. This make them to use social media platform like Facebook, Tiktok and Instagram to gain views and earn monetization money. For an example, people visit to well-known cafes, resturants and parks to take pictures and vidoes and upload them with hashtags. One of the another reason is people want to become famous. If the photo they took went viral on social media, they can be influencers. This is will automatically increase their followers and fanbase. For an instance, recently a couple uploaded a photo infront of the indegenous statue. People take this as a trend and many couples went to the same location to take a picture with same posture.
It is vital to know about well-knows places as we should pass this information to our future generation. If this trend continued to go like this, people will forget about the true meaning and the value of these places. As an example, the Glades woodland garden, is a stunning location to take pictures. However, people does not the story behind the garden and the founders. Therefore, I believe this is negative trend even though these places earn reservation money and more public attention.
In conclusion, people visits to renowned place growing bigger and bigger for photographs rather than doing a research about the place. The main reason is to earn money through social media likes and gain publicity through trending photos. I believe this a

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the task by explaining why people take photographs at well-known places without looking at them (to gain social media views, make money, and become influencers) and giving a clear position that this is a negative trend. Ideas are extended with examples, such as visiting cafes and restaurants and taking photos in front of indigenous statues. However, some arguments lack complete development, and the essay cuts off abruptly in the final paragraph, leaving the conclusion incomplete. Overall, it satisfies the requirements of a Band 6.0 because all parts of the task are addressed, though some sections feel slightly under-developed or truncated.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay has a coherent overall arrangement and is divided into paragraphs that separate the introduction, reasons, evaluation, and conclusion. Cohesive devices and signposts are used, such as 'As mentioned earlier', 'For an example', and 'In conclusion'. However, referencing and transitions are occasionally faulty or mechanical, such as 'One of the another reason' and 'This is will automatically increase'. Paragraphing is present, but the abrupt ending detracts from the overall flow. Progression is visible, yet mechanical errors in cohesion limit the score to a Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common phrases such as 'addicted to take photographs', 'monetization money', and 'indegenous statue'. However, there are several noticeable word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors, including 'addicted take', 'want earn', 'gurdiants', 'well-knows', and 'resturants'. These errors do not seriously impede communication, but they restrict the lexical score to a Band 5.5, as the control over less common vocabulary is inconsistent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response exhibits a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but it is heavily impacted by frequent grammatical errors. Examples of inaccurate structures and omissions include 'addicted take photographs and publish them social media', 'find it more difficult learn new things', 'they do not to depend', 'This make them to use', and 'people does not the story'. Furthermore, the essay is incomplete at the end ('I believe this a'). These frequent errors and faulty complex structures place the essay securely in the Band 5.0 range, as they occasionally cause difficulty for the reader.
