More and more people nowadays visit well-known places to take photographs of themselves, without looking at the place.
Why do you think this is happening?
Is it a positive or a negative trend?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this modern era, technology increase day by day that helps to make our life easy. An increasing number of masses in presentdays like to travel popular places to take photographs of itself without know about the place . in my opinion it is an negative treand because its promote social media culture.
The main reason why its happening is due to using social media on daily basis. to explain, most of masses like to make reels and taking pictures for their social media because by posting reels they earn money from social media. As a result, famous brands connect with them for promotion of their products. Secondly, just to show off their things on social media and their levish life style, so the another individuals watch them and follow them. for example a lots of masses visit that same place where their favorite social media person visited.
I my opinion, it is a negative trend because person visit historic places without know the history of that place just to take pictures and for making reels for their social platform just to show off. That will affect our history because new generation dont learn anything by visiting their.another point is that it also effect other tourists that plan their trip , while visiting sudden on some place just to follow social media trend affect other tourists of interest, because they just want to clicing picture and making reels, but other persons came their to feel relax and calm down.For example, due to latest social media trend lots of masses like to visit Taj Mahal.
To conclude, this type of trends may increse bacause alots of masses like to use social media bu in my opinion it is a negative trend , it affect other masses that visit there to learn somrthing
