More and more people nowadays visit well-known places to take photographs of themselves, without looking at the place.

Why do you think this is happening?

Student answer (Band 6.0)

Nowadays, In this digital era, peole prioritize the digital appearances instead of focusing on the real practicle life experiences. People travel a lot to visit well-known places for photographs rather than appreciating the actual beauty and enjoying the real moments. In my opinion thats a negative trend. This essay will disscuss negative trends of the topic with examples.

First and foremost, In this fast-paced world, People wants to travel to beautiful destinations so they can get views on their instagram page and run their businesses. For just few views likes and comments they forget to enjoy the real beauty of nature. For instance, A famous pakistani vlogger went to enjoy on the K2 mountain and she was making tiktok video which made her foot slip and she died over there. Rescue teams are still figuring out the body.

Furthermore, another compelling reason is that, people are more focused on social media now. They usually spent whole day watching reels and feeds of other infuencers and take inspirations from them and trying to copy them. In that case, they are just loosing their own sense of thinking, creative ideas and ofcourse self-confidence. They just want to be like another person. For example, A recent survey shows that 80 percent of the youth just travel to take good photos of themselves and make and do their own social media competitions which ends up in jealousy and fight.

In conclusion, if we just take photos for memories and just enjoy the real moment that would be a great sense of relaxation and peace. Moreover, planning for a trip to visit other places makes a person more confident, gives them a chance to explore multicultural traditions, cultures and diverse range of cuisines from all over the world make their mind and body relaxed and optimistic towards life, instead of negativity and jealously from the social platforms.
