More and more people nowadays visit well-known places to take photographs of themselves, without looking at the place.

Why do you think this is happening?

Student answer (Band 4.5)

Thesedays,Most of the individuals visit famous places to take pictures of their own,without even sight-seeing the place.

I will provide my opinion for this viewpoint.There are several reasons.First and foremost reason is social media.For instance,Nowadays,if somebody is active on any social media platform like-instagram,snapchat they want to show them where they are,what they eat,what they think,how they feel ,what they are doing at this moment ,people want to keep their followers upto date about themselves.Apart from this, tourist destinations are frequently treated as not only personal branding as well as for view,likes and comments on the post.

I believe this has negative impact.Individuals deprive from enjoying the particular moment .
