In this technological world, some individuals tavel to famous locations to capture their images rather than focus on the views and importances of the location. This essay will shed the light on the reasons behind this trend before forming a solution.
To begin with, there is an array of reasons of taking photos rather than focusing on the location. The most important one to be considered as social media influence. As a cosequence, it impacts masses in posting varieties of images in networking platforms and get viral among their followers. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You successfully address all parts of the task by explaining why people photograph famous locations rather than look at them, and you clearly state your position that this is a negative trend in the introduction and conclusion. However, the response fits this band because some ideas are under-developed or touch upon the prompt only partially. For instance, while you mention social media influence and creating memories as reasons, the explanation regarding memories is brief and lacks depth. Similarly, the negative consequences, such as missing out on exploring nature or understanding historical significance, are presented with limited elaboration. To reach a higher level, you need to extend and support your arguments with more detailed explanations and fully developed examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
Your essay has a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphing, dividing the introduction, reasons, consequences, and conclusion appropriately. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'On the other hand', and 'To conclude' to structure your writing. However, the cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical, and referencing is not always clear. For example, expressions like 'The most important one to be considered as social media influence' and 'there is an another point to be considered is that experiencing' sound unnatural and disrupt the logical flow between sentences. To improve, you should work on smoother transitions and more precise referencing rather than relying on repetitive formulaic phrases.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as 'plethora', 'prevalent', and 'consequences'. Nevertheless, your writing contains noticeable spelling and word-choice errors that prevent you from achieving a higher band. There are multiple spelling mistakes, such as 'tavel' for travel, 'cosequence' for consequence, 'photoes' for photos, 'sorroundings' for surroundings, 'crusial' for crucial, 'Hense' for Hence, 'lossing' for losing, 'historiacl' for historical, 'Neverthless' for Nevertheless, and 'laces' for places. Additionally, some collocations are awkward, such as 'get viral' instead of 'go viral' and 'get explore' instead of 'explore'. To progress, you need to broaden your control over spelling and word choice to ensure greater precision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence forms throughout your essay, attempting structures such as subordinate clauses ('although there are plethora of reasons behind to capture the moments when people visit laces rather than focus on the location'). The text contains some errors in grammar and punctuation, but these errors rarely impede overall communication. Examples of grammatical slips include prepositions and verb patterns, such as 'reasons of taking photos' instead of 'reasons for taking photos', 'post it different sites' instead of 'post them on different sites', and 'where was us and how was it' instead of 'where we were and what it was like'. To reach a higher band, you should aim for a higher proportion of error-free sentences when using complex structures and improve your control over prepositions and subject-verb agreement.
