Student answer (Band 6.0)
Well, it is undeniable that photography plays a pivotal role in everyones life in order to capture moments. On that note, in todays era people travel renowned places to take pictures of themselves and places without enjoying the place. I will discuss not only the reasons, but my view will be also highlighted in the forthcoming paragraphs.
There are multitudinous reasons behind this notion. The first and foremost is that, humankind capture pictures and save moments for lifetime. To be more precise, people wants to secure that time period on their devices, so they can save it and watch letter as well as show them to someone else. For instance, some people like to save pictures and frame it so they can show it to their parents and their kids also, and they preserve it for lifetime for a beautiful memory. Another reason behind this is that, It create exorbitant amount of revenue by sharing on social media. In other words, nowadays multitudes earn name and fame through social media by posting their pictures and gaining likes and love from followers. Therefore, people take pictures instead of enjoying place.
There are plethora of benefits of this notion. To embark with, it makes people happy and helps to improve their creativity as they start their own channel of vlog and become more confident and improve themselves. For example, starting from pictures to creating more videos and posts they gain more and more popularity and gain more confident to share new things. Apart from that, it assist those who do not travel, they can see the distinct places. Thus, taking pictures has more pros.
To recapitulate, even though there are some drawbacks such as people spend more time in device rather than nature, I believe benefits like improve creativity, others get chance to see place are much more.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both the reasons behind the trend and your view on whether it is a positive or negative development. However, some ideas are more fully developed than others. For example, your first body paragraph touches on capturing moments and generating revenue on social media, but the explanations tend to be repetitive rather than thoroughly extended. Your position is generally clear throughout the essay, leaning towards viewing the trend as positive, and you present relevant supporting points such as creativity and helping those who do not travel. To move to a higher level, you need to extend and support your ideas with greater depth and avoid generalising without clear elaboration.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
Your essay demonstrates a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt to structure your ideas into an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used sufficiently to separate your main points. However, the cohesion feels somewhat mechanical at times, relying on predictable transition phrases like 'The first and foremost is that,' 'Another reason behind this is that,' and 'To embark with.' Referencing is also occasionally unclear, such as in the conclusion where pronouns and links between clauses cause slight confusion. To improve your cohesion further, you should aim for a more flexible and natural use of cohesive devices to guide the reader smoothly through your arguments.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common phrases such as 'pivotal role,' 'multitudinous reasons,' 'exorbitant amount of revenue,' and 'plethora of benefits.' While these attempts show ambition, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as saying 'humankind capture pictures' instead of 'people capture pictures,' and writing 'watch letter' instead of 'watch later.' There are also a few spelling and word form errors, such as 'everyones' missing an apostrophe and 'confident' used instead of 'confidence.' These errors do not seriously impede communication, but refining your lexical control and word choice will help you achieve a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
Your response features a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating that you can attempt varied structures. However, there are noticeable errors in grammar and punctuation throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues like 'people wants' instead of 'people want,' missing articles such as 'enjoying place' instead of 'enjoying the place,' and preposition errors like 'spend more time in device' instead of 'on devices.' Punctuation and pluralisation also show occasional slips, such as 'others get chance to see place.' While these errors rarely impede communication, you will need to increase your control over complex sentence patterns and reduce frequent slips to progress further.
