Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, it is so popular in individuals to have tours of popular places for creating new memories, without even having any review of the places. According to me, This is a positive trend because people can know the history, create memory and have a short break from busy life. I will explain why this is a good sign in following paragraphs.
Visiting new places for taking picture is a new trend because most of the people thinks that they can know the history of the place rather than reading the books and imagining. Its showes a good sign because most of the places carry a big history and secrificies. in this ways historys can be saved and serve to new generations. Moreover, some of them believe in creating memoring by visiting new destinations in their young ages. So in their old ages they can enjoy by looking at their pictures for enjoying the same moments again and fell happy about it. To illustrate this, I personally like to visit new places that because in this way i can can some memories to enjoys it latter in life.
Futhermore, in these days people are very busy in their work and life. they are always in stress to complete their daily taskes and forget to enjoy their life. it will be good if they go to trips and take some time for themselves. they can relax and stressfree. It is also advised by doctors that having trips in a year can improve the mental health and people dealing with stress and depression can get improvements in their health. it is scientifically proven that visitig new places a persons feel relax and overwhelm.
In conclussion, its a postive trend to visit well known places beacause it helps in saving history and improvig mental health.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by attempting to explain why people take photographs of famous places without looking at them, and gives an opinion on whether this is a positive or negative trend. However, the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the argument that taking pictures helps people learn about history instead of reading books is asserted rather than logically supported, and the claim that history is thus 'saved' is somewhat unclear. Similarly, the discussion around mental health in the third paragraph is repetitive and lacks specific examples or depth. The writer's position is stated, but the support for both the reasons and the evaluation of the trend is basic and lacks extension.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement and follows a clear paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to body paragraphs exploring reasons and benefits, followed by a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'To illustrate this', and 'Futhermore' are employed, though referencing and linking are at times mechanical or slightly awkward, such as starting sentences abruptly without smooth transitions. Paragraphing is used sufficiently to separate distinct ideas, such as the historical value in one paragraph and the stress-relief aspect in another, providing a logical progression of thoughts throughout the text.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate to convey basic ideas about tourism, stress, and memories. There are noticeable lexical errors and awkward word choices throughout the text, such as 'popular in individuals' instead of 'popular among individuals', 'secrificies' for sacrifices, 'historys' for histories, 'memoring' for memories, and 'stressfree' as a single unspaced word. Spelling and word form inaccuracies, such as 'improving' misspelled as 'improvig' and 'postive' for positive, occasionally cause some difficulty for the reader, reflecting a restricted lexical repertoire.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but the attempts at complex structures are often faulty. There are frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues like 'most of the people thinks' instead of 'think', missing or incorrect articles as in 'in these days', and punctuation and capitalization errors such as lowercase letters at the beginnings of sentences or after full stops. Prepositional errors also occur, such as 'busy in their work' instead of 'busy with their work'. These frequent errors require the reader to occasionally pause, though the general meaning remains understandable.
