Student answer (Band 5.5)
Due to advancement of technology, the most of people take photographs of well known places without looking at the place. I think this is happening due to social median influence and takes as memories But this is negative trend to take photographs on tourist attractions places.
There are some reasons why people take photographs of well known plaecs rather than looking at the place. But one prominent reason is social media influence. The majority of people not only click picture in front of famous buildings but also make reels and after that posts on tiktok and Instagram to get name and fame. As famous landmark as well as eye catching views help to increase like and comments on the posts. Mpreover, sometimes they take photographs to capture the nostalegic memroies of the trip. They know about what date as well as whose are present in this trip.
However, this is negative trend, as people are busy to click the pictures while enjoying the trip. They spend most of time to choosing not only poses but also appearence as well as locations. For example, a tourist visiting Golden temple and they spend all time to take selfies and click photo instead off know about the design and appreciation of architecture. They also destroy beauty and other people interest who enjyoning the trip.
In conclusion, although taking photos are good trend but it should be take on some palces. Due to social media influence they take picture instead off enjyonging the trip which is negative trend. As it is a responsibility of government they should banned pictures on famous places.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions: social-media attention and preserving memories are offered as reasons, and you clearly judge the trend negatively. The explanation that people focus on poses and photos instead of appreciating a site is relevant, and the Golden Temple example helps illustrate this concern. However, the reasons are not equally developed: the memory point is brief, and the claim that photographs “destroy beauty” or affect other visitors’ enjoyment needs clearer explanation or support. Your conclusion introduces a government ban, which is stronger than the position developed in the essay and is not justified by the preceding discussion. Develop each reason with a specific explanation and keep the final recommendation consistent with your argument.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph explaining causes, a paragraph evaluating the trend, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “However,” “For example,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of your argument. Overall, the ideas are arranged coherently, but some connections are mechanical or unclear. The opening says the trend is negative before the body explains why, while the conclusion’s suggestion that photos should be banned shifts the argument rather than drawing it together. Within paragraphs, several ideas are joined in long sequences, making their relationships harder to follow. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example directly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “social media influence,” “famous buildings,” “nostalgic memories,” “poses,” and “architecture.” These choices make your main ideas understandable. However, errors in spelling, word form, and collocation are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: examples include “social median,” “nostalegic,” “memroies,” and “tourist attractions places.” Some expressions are also imprecise, such as “get name and fame” and “destroy beauty.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations and check spelling carefully. A wider range of precise terms for visitor behaviour and cultural sites would help you explain your ideas more clearly without relying on repeated forms of “take photographs.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including the contrast in “people not only click picture … but also make reels” and the example introduced with “For example.” The overall meaning is generally recoverable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity. For instance, “The majority of people not only click” needs a finite verb such as “do not only click,” and “they spend all time” needs an article or possessive. There are also problems with agreement and verb forms in “taking photos are” and “it should be take.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation need attention, particularly around the Golden Temple example. Practise building accurate complex sentences and checking articles, agreement, and verb forms.
