Student answer (Band 5.5)
Todays world many individuals are going to popular locations to collect pictures of their own ,without watching the location.
In this modern day era the puples are getting more into the social media badly and they are slwoly forgetting about what is going in real world . Eveyone is busy to doing showoffs in social about their fake life ,they overlook the reality and fail to remember what is the maing of enjoyment .
Furthermore , public went to famous places for clicking their social media content for attention on social media platform such as instagram ,snapchat ,etc. for example if popular youtuber like Sourav Joshi from India went to popular building Taj mahal with their family and made his vlog for youtube.
As far as with this craze of photos and videos the peple will forget to enjoy the beauty of the place and watching the art of the building and also fail to collect the knowledge and history, pupose of the place.
To conclude , i would say that the growing tedency to take selfies at famous tourist attrations is mainly caused by social media and desire of attention . I believe this is a negative development because people may miss the oppportunity to appreciate the beauty and cultural importance of these places

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you attribute the behaviour to social media and the desire for attention, and you clearly judge it negatively because visitors may miss a place’s beauty and cultural importance. The Taj Mahal example gives the explanation some specificity. However, the response is short of the required 250 words, and this limits how fully you can develop your reasons and support your view. The explanation that people are “doing showoffs” and living a “fake life” is asserted rather than explored, while the example mainly describes a YouTuber making a vlog rather than showing its effect on visitors. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation or consequence, and add a relevant example to support your evaluation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has an overall progression: it introduces the trend, gives social media as a cause, explains what visitors may miss, and ends with a clear conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Furthermore” and “To conclude” help signal this structure. However, the body paragraphs are not clearly separated, and several ideas run together in long sentences, making the relationships between them less easy to follow. The opening repeats the task rather than setting up the argument, and “As far as with this craze” does not clearly connect to the preceding example. Use distinct paragraphs for causes and negative effects, and make links between claims explicit—for instance, explain how seeking online attention leads visitors to focus on taking pictures instead of observing the site.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “social media,” “popular locations,” “attention,” “beauty,” and “cultural importance,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning awkward: “collect pictures of their own,” “doing showoffs,” and “clicking their social media content” are not natural expressions in this context. There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “puples,” “slwoly,” “Eveyone,” and “attrations.” These issues fit a response with a minimally adequate but inconsistent vocabulary range. Build a bank of accurate phrases for tourism and online behaviour, and proofread spelling and word forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “if popular youtuber…” and a concluding sentence with “because.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to read. For example, “the puples are getting more into the social media” has problems with the subject and article, while “if popular youtuber … went … and made his vlog” does not form a complete, well-controlled sentence. In “the peple will forget to enjoy … and watching,” the verb forms are not parallel. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries.
