Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is observed that many folks nowadays visit famous places to capture photographs of themselves, without checking the place. The majority of poulace are yourgsters. From my perspective this is a negative trend. There are several reasons behind this trend which will be discussed in the following paragraphs.
The primary factor is social media impact. Majorities of photos are taken by the people who are directly influenced by social media. It is normal nowadays whenever individuals visit any place they just take photographs and post on social media. Afterthat they tag to their friends on social media and wait for comments .Such criosity and behaviour release the dopamine. Which subsequently feels them happy.
Furthermore, some people are keen interested in making memories only. They just love the places and their structures. The history and the other details do not bother them. Therefore they just take photograph of themselves, without looking at the place. there are numerous instances such as Taj Mahal, where millions of spectators visit every year and take photographs of themselves, without looking at the place.
In my opinion this is a negative trend. All the well-known places have the history and significant information. People should do the research and gather the relevant information of such places then take the photographs for various perposes. Resultantly, this will enhance their knowledge and realize the importance of places. People should also give more imporatance of knowlege and information as well along with photographs.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions: social media is given as a reason, and you clearly state that the trend is negative. The explanation that posting and receiving comments can make people feel happy is relevant, while the Taj Mahal example supports your point that visitors may focus on photographs rather than the site. However, the response is under the required 250 words: it contains 233 words, with nine words copied from the prompt excluded from the count. Ideas are also limited and under-developed. For example, you could explain more fully what visitors miss by not engaging with a place, and develop the second reason—making memories—so it is distinct from the social-media explanation. Add specific supporting detail to make your position more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “Therefore” and “In my opinion” help signal the stages of your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear or repetitive: the first body paragraph moves from taking photographs to tagging friends and dopamine without fully connecting these points to the effect on visitors’ experience. The conclusion also repeats the negative position and the recommendation to learn about places, rather than drawing the main reasons together. Some links are mechanical, and the sentence beginning “Which subsequently…” is not properly connected to the preceding idea. Use clearer references and explain how each supporting point advances your argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “social media,” “history,” “significant information” and “enhance their knowledge,” so the reader can follow the main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which makes parts of the response less clear. For instance, “Majorities of photos” does not express the intended meaning, and “keen interested” is not a natural phrase. There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “poulace,” “criosity,” “perposes” and “imporatance.” Aim to use a smaller number of accurate, natural expressions rather than forcing unfamiliar wording. Proofreading for spelling and checking common word partnerships would improve clarity and precision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including “whenever individuals visit any place…” and “People should do the research… then take the photographs.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences awkward or difficult to follow. “The majority of poulace are yourgsters” lacks a clear grammatical construction, while “Which subsequently feels them happy” is a sentence fragment with an incorrect verb pattern. Other examples include “they tag to their friends” and “All the well-known places have the history.” Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly the extra space before the full stop after “comments.” Practise complete sentence structures, subject–verb agreement, articles and verb patterns, then proofread each sentence for grammatical completeness.
