Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is consider that today's vast number of individuals travel the most popular locations for just clicking their pictures, without exploring the place. I thinks they are social worm they just want to getting popularity on social media rather than explore the location. According to me it is a negative trend due to they loose a chance to explore new place, waste their money and time as well. In forthcoming paragraphs we will discuss in detail about that with some relevant examples.

To commence with, during they visit to popular place they spend their money and time that is totally waste when they follow this trend. To eleborate it, when people going to any tourist place then they spend money for travelling such as fuel cost, rented property for stay as well as for meal. If they are not enjoying over there and spend whole time taking pictures of themselves than i thinks that is wasttage of wealth and precious time. For example, one of my friend last month went to the Mansoorie that is located in india and I asked him last week how was your trip going? he had in regret because he spend 500$ in one week but he cannot did enjoy there he just clicked lot of pictures. Therefore, I thinks it is negative trend.

Furthermore, following the this trend people cannot exploring the beatiful views. To explain it, during their trip if they caputure just yourself then they cannot focus on getting knowledge of history of the location, miss the chance of looking natural views and make beautiful memories. For instance, in first paragraph I talk about my friend who visited Masoorie he do not know about most popular waterfall which is located over there as well as company garden also. Hence, I believed they miss the chance of exploring new place.

To conclude, in the above this essay I explined my point of view why I thinks that it is negative impact. No doubt clicking photographs and making memories

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear negative position and address both the reasons for the behaviour and whether it is positive or negative. The social-media explanation in the introduction is relevant, and the examples about your friend’s spending and missing local attractions help illustrate your view. However, the reasons are not developed evenly: the first body paragraph explains costs and time in some detail, while the second mainly lists what visitors miss. The response also does not fully explore why people seek photographs or online popularity, such as wanting approval or documenting experiences. The conclusion begins to acknowledge that photographs can preserve memories, but it is unfinished and does not clearly restate your overall judgement. Develop each main idea with explanation and complete the conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a concluding section. Ideas generally progress from the costs of the behaviour to the missed opportunities for exploration, and examples are placed alongside the points they support. Linking phrases such as “To commence with,” “Furthermore” and “To conclude” make the organisation visible. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear: “in the above this essay” is awkward, and “in first paragraph I talk about my friend” makes the reference to the earlier example distracting. The conclusion is also incomplete, which weakens the overall progression. Use simpler, more natural transitions and refer to earlier examples only when this genuinely helps the reader follow the argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “popular locations,” “social media,” “tourist place,” “natural views” and “history.” This is enough to communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make the writing less natural. For example, “social worm” does not express the intended idea, “wasttage of wealth” is unclear, and “exploring the beautiful views” would be more naturally expressed as “enjoying the scenery.” Spelling errors such as “eleborate,” “caputure” and “beatiful” are also noticeable. Build a bank of accurate phrases for tourism and social-media motivations, and check spelling and word forms when editing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including explanations and examples, but control is inconsistent. Errors in verb forms and sentence structure are frequent enough to make some sentences difficult to follow: “I thinks they are,” “when people going to any tourist place,” and “he cannot did enjoy there” need correction. Agreement and tense also cause problems in “he spend 500$” and “he do not know.” Articles, plurals and punctuation are sometimes missing or inaccurate, as in “visited to popular place” and the long sentence beginning “If they are not enjoying over there.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “because,” “when” and “although.” Proofread specifically for subject–verb agreement and consistent past tense in examples.
