Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is certainly true the people love to travel to differnt places to capture their moments. Some people think that in the current scenario people love to visit famous palces to take photos for themselves without knowing about that place. This thing is happen due to socail media and in my opnion its a negative trend which i will discuss bith the thibgs in the upcoming paragraphs.

To begin with, The are are many reasons why people love to visit the places with checking the background of the famous places. Firsly, beause of social meadia. Some times people see some interesting places from internet or other social media platforms like insta, facebook and so on. They get infleune to see that place personaly but when they atcually reacout their place does not look like the same in the pictures which leads to dissatisfaction to viewer. Moreover, it also wasteage of time because people does not gain any historical knowlege related to thst place

Furthermore, its good sometimes people visit to explore places without checking the history of that place. People are busy in their busy life .when they go out it also stress buster for them and they can enjoythier life with capturing their memories.when peolle go their and spend money thier it also leads to growth in ecocony which government can invest in society for people to make their life easy.

To conclude, it is true people love to travel to differrnt places to capture their memories due to influence from internet and it leads to negative development.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You identify social media as a reason for visiting famous places and state that you view the trend negatively, so the response addresses both questions. However, the position is not fully consistent: the second body paragraph calls the behaviour “good sometimes” and describes stress relief and economic benefits, while the conclusion returns to a negative judgement without explaining how these points affect your overall view. The reasons are also only partly developed. For example, you mention that a place may not match online pictures and that visitors may miss its history, but you do not explain these consequences in detail or give a specific example. Make your position consistent and develop each main reason with explanation or an example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Furthermore” and “To conclude” help show the intended structure. However, progression within the body paragraphs is uneven. The first paragraph moves from social-media influence to disappointment and then wasted time, with limited explanation linking these points. The second shifts from a positive view of visiting without research to stress relief and economic growth, so its relationship to the stated negative position is unclear. Some linking phrases are also awkward or repetitive, and the conclusion mainly repeats the introduction. Group related ideas more clearly, use transitions to show how they connect, and ensure each paragraph supports the same overall argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “social media platforms,” “historical knowledge,” “dissatisfaction” and “growth in economy.” However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “infleune,” “reacout” and “wasteage.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “visit the places with checking the background” and “capture their moments.” Repeated use of general words such as “places,” “people” and “good” limits precision. Build a bank of accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling, word forms and collocations; for instance, describe visitors as researching a destination or documenting their trip rather than using unclear phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a relative clause in “which leads to dissatisfaction” and a reason clause beginning “because.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement and articles. Examples include “This thing is happen,” “people does not gain,” and “when they actually reach out their place,” where the intended grammatical relationships are unclear. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention: several ideas run together, while “The are are many reasons” contains a faulty opening construction. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking agreement, verb forms and punctuation in each sentence.
