Student answer (Band 5.5)

In concurrent era, photography is basic need for travelling famouse places. person focus more on picture captuing instead of visiting or enjoying the moment or location. In the ensuing peragraphs mentions reasons for this with light and dark side of this trend with proper examples.

The foremost reason is social media and smart phone. Every individuals want to share there vacation with friends and relatives to take more attention on social media. For example, young people spend more time into taking their own photograps with famous building like Burg Khalifa, CN tower insted of to visiting and knowing history or importents of the place. Because they want to share such photograps on degital platform such as facebook, instagram.

Another reason is saving memory for future. Human nature is that they always think for future, everyone want to capture special moments of there life in to camera sothat they can show thet to their next generation or to rewind the same again. To illustrate, when elder person going for religious location they want to click each an everything on camara for their grand children.

According to me it is a positive trend. Reason behind that is memories can save in photographs and videos so we can live the same moment nagain and again. Moreover, our friends and followers can enjoy the same by seeing images in our digital platform. However sometime person give more importence to camara rather then site seen.

To conclude this, photographs is always benefitial for momory but people should foucs on both tacking pictures of themselves and watching the site to enjoy the visit.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both questions: social media and the wish to preserve memories are offered as reasons, and you clearly judge the trend to be positive while acknowledging that people can focus too much on the camera. The examples of photographing famous buildings and taking pictures at religious sites make the ideas relevant. However, the reasons are not equally developed: the social-media point is linked to seeking attention, while the memory point is explained more generally and does not fully show why people overlook the place itself. Your conclusion gives a sensible qualification, but the positive position would be stronger if you weighed the benefits against the loss of direct experience and explained why the benefits outweigh it.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two paragraphs explaining causes, a paragraph giving your view, and a conclusion. This makes the line of argument easy to follow, and transitions such as “Another reason” and “To conclude” help signal the stages. The organisation is coherent, though some linking is mechanical, and a few connections between ideas could be clearer. For example, “According to me it is a positive trend” begins the evaluation, but the following point about people giving too much importance to the camera is not fully connected to why the trend remains positive. Use more precise referencing and transitions to show how each example supports the main point, and avoid repeating the same idea in the conclusion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “social media,” “capture,” “memories,” “digital platform,” and “religious location,” so the reader can understand the main ideas. There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “next generation.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices, collocations, and spellings make the writing less natural: “basic need for travelling famouse places,” “take more attention,” and “site seen” are unclear or unsuitable in context. Repeated use of “photographs,” “share,” and “want” also restricts variety. Build a bank of accurate phrases for travel and motivation, and check spelling and collocations so your vocabulary communicates ideas more precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “Because they want to share…” and a purpose clause with “so that they can show…”. These attempts help explain your ideas, but control is inconsistent. Errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and verb forms appear in examples such as “Every individuals want,” “when elder person going,” and “photographs is always beneficial.” Some sentences also lack a clear grammatical subject or complete structure, particularly the opening sentence and “In the ensuing paragraphs mentions reasons.” These issues sometimes make the reader pause, although the overall meaning is generally recoverable. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement and articles.
