Student answer (Band 6.0)
Now these days, the craze for photographs has been increasing among the individual while visiting to the different tourist sites instead of enjoy the moment of looking at the sites. There are numerous reasons for this is to earn through posting vlogs and pictures on social media and gain recogination through the different palteforms of social media. It is negative trend and will be discussed in the upcoming paragraphs.
There are various reasons why individuals prefer to take more pictures at visiting spot without looking at the place.First and foremost reason is to earn money through social media. Many people earn the income through social media by posting variety of content regarding travelling becasue this is their income source.Another reason is that pupils wants to be famous early and easily by posting their different pictures with new ideas of captions according to the photo. For instance A group of individuals visited to a historical museum instead of geeting information about the momumets they are busy in making vlogs and taking pictures with different poses.
This is a negative trend which is increased day by day.The main motive for visiting to the historical monuments to know about the history and culture. However, instead of getting knowledge, people focus on capturing videos and divert from main purpose of visit. For example- a school students group visit to museum to get information about the historial monuments for their school assignment, instead of this they just clicking pictures of themselves to post them on social media to get fame.Consequently, they are not able to fulfil the exact need of visit.
To recapitualte, i reiterate that people focus on clicking the pictures while they visit to any tourist spot instead of getting knowledge which the need. This is a negative trend as it lost the importance of the tourist spots.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions: you explain that social media can provide income and recognition, and you clearly state that the trend is negative because visitors miss the educational and cultural value of places. The museum and school-trip examples are relevant and help illustrate your position. However, the reasons are not equally developed: the point about earning money is explained briefly, while the desire for fame is mostly asserted rather than explored. The examples also repeat the same museum scenario, and the discussion focuses mainly on historical sites rather than the broader range of well-known places in the prompt. Develop each reason with a distinct explanation or example to make the response more fully supported.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining causes, a paragraph evaluating the trend, and a conclusion. The progression from reasons to consequences is easy to follow, and signposts such as “First and foremost,” “However,” and “Consequently” help connect ideas. This is a strong foundation, with some features of more flexible organisation. At times, though, linking is mechanical, and the examples in the two body paragraphs overlap. Some references are also unclear, as in “which the need,” where the reader must infer what is needed. Use more varied transitions, avoid repeating the same example, and make pronoun references and links between claims explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “social media,” “historical monuments,” “culture,” “capturing videos,” and “income source,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. There are also attempts at less common expressions, such as “main motive” and “fulfil the exact need.” However, inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the phrasing awkward: “craze for photographs,” “different platforms,” “getting information about the monuments,” and “lost the importance” do not express the intended meaning naturally. Several misspellings, including “recogination,” “palteforms,” and “momumets,” further weaken control. Build a bank of accurate collocations for tourism and social media, and proofread spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast with “However” and a result clause beginning “Consequently.” The overall meaning can usually be followed, but grammatical control is inconsistent, and errors occur across sentence patterns. For example, “individuals prefer to take more pictures at visiting spot” has problems with number and sentence construction, while “pupils wants” shows subject–verb disagreement. In “instead of enjoy the moment,” the verb form after “instead of” is incorrect, and “they just clicking pictures” lacks a finite verb. Articles, prepositions, and punctuation also need attention. Practise building accurate clauses first, then check agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries during revision.
