Student answer (Band 5.0)

In recent years, there are numerous people visit well-known places to take photographs of themselves for post on social media. They would not look properly or read it, but also tourists will not think why this place was visited by many people. The main cause is online platforms have impacts on individuals. In my opinion, negative trends have significant role in this matter.

Firstly, people follow a lot of influencers and well-known people became a our part of life. They have effect on consumers' preferences. This trend might have extremely posivite or negative depends on how they used to it. Nowadays, visitors may travel famous attractions because of instagram or other applications. People require to demonstrate photographs for the followers such as friends, relatives or others. Therefore they will not care of about establishments histories. For example, many local tourist was visited randon rocks in Trabzon because of famous football player has been there and he post photos from there.

Secondly, in young generations, they have feeling about why their friends had been in any well-know places they might be a jeaolous. It may cause they need to be there and they have to take photographs and show to others. For example, in any families , when individuals had seen photos from relatives holiday it does not matter where is the location they can make a pressure to father. It cause drawbacks on toustist choice because of competition feeling from online platforms. Therefore cutting-edge technolgy have many disadvantegous on individuals decisions.

Finally, many places bacame a popular becauce of well-know people posted in social medias. This applications have a negative impact on travelers. They just want to show to their followers they just been there. In my opinion main reason is just to show to

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both questions: you identify social media and influencers as reasons people take these photographs, and you state that you see the trend as negative. The examples about visitors going to rocks in Trabzon and family pressure also relate to the topic. However, the position is not consistently explained: the opening says the trend has a “significant role” without clearly stating whether it is positive or negative, and the final paragraph ends mid-sentence. Several points remain general or unclear, such as the claim that visitors do not care about a place’s history. Develop the negative effects more fully and complete the conclusion so your answer clearly explains why this trend is harmful.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an identifiable structure, with an introduction and paragraphs beginning “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Finally.” These markers help readers recognise separate reasons, and the examples are placed near the points they illustrate. However, progression is limited because the paragraphs repeat the idea of taking photographs to show followers without clearly building a connected argument. Some links are difficult to follow, particularly “This trend might have extremely…” and “It cause drawbacks on toustist choice.” The final paragraph stops before completing its point, leaving the response without a clear conclusion. Make each paragraph focus on one distinct reason or consequence, use clearer references between sentences, and finish by restating your judgement.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “influencers,” “consumers’ preferences,” “followers,” and “social media,” which helps communicate the subject. There are also attempts at more specific expressions such as “competition feeling” and “cutting-edge technology.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, for example “care of about establishments histories” and “a pressure to father.” Spelling errors such as “posivite,” “jeaolous,” and “disadvantegous” are noticeable and can slow the reader. Aim for accurate, natural phrases and check spelling carefully. For instance, describe visitors as “ignoring the site’s history” rather than using the unclear phrase about establishments.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including cause-and-effect structures with “because” and “therefore.” However, complex attempts are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to understand. Examples include “there are numerous people visit,” “well-known people became a our part of life,” and “many local tourist was visited.” There are also problems with verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction, as in “This trend might have extremely… depends on how they used to it.” Some sentences are fragments or incomplete, and the final sentence is unfinished. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence for a complete verb and clear meaning.
