Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, photography at any place has become a central issue in modern society, sparking significant debate rageding its impact on young gerneration and the respect of particular place. while it is often argued that picture collectetion at renowund place has advantages, Others contend that it create serius issue. In my opinion it happing because of media influence and technology, this essay will explore its trend.
On the one hand, there are plenty of key points that why people prefer to take pictures at famouse place instead of knowing about the place. The primary driver behind this trend is social media. This is largely because individual just wanted to post pictures on media platforms so they just search about the beaty of place and angle of pictures insted of the history of place. For example, parks and historical buildings, the parks has beauty because of flowers and green plants, furthermore, historical buiding's architecture of building is unique. As a result pictures automatically influence other people and they just search about the place insted of the history.
This trend is counter productive for not only individual but also for the old buildings. The majour factor is the society will lost the history, if people only focused on the pictues without knowing about the well known place. Moreover, the new generation will not take interest and buildings will lost the historty. For instance, musium has bi importance in individual's life but people prefer take pictures with the things placed at musium.
Ultimately, Taking pictures are important for people because they wanted to keeep it as a memory but with this they should know about the place

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions by identifying social media as a reason for the behaviour and presenting it as harmful, particularly because visitors may overlook a place’s history. The examples of parks, historic buildings and museums are relevant, but they are mostly general and do not explain in detail how photography leads people to ignore the site. Your position is also not fully consistent: you describe the trend as counterproductive, then conclude that taking pictures is important as a memory without clearly stating whether the overall trend is positive or negative. Develop the causes and consequences more fully, and make your judgement explicit in the introduction and conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a concluding sentence. The first body paragraph focuses on social media, while the next discusses possible harm to historical understanding, so the reader can follow the main topics. However, progression between ideas is sometimes unclear: the discussion moves from parks to historic buildings and then to the influence of pictures without explaining the links. Connectors such as “On the one hand” and “Moreover” are used, but the first suggests a contrasting point that is not clearly developed. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, and link examples directly to the explanation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “social media,” “historical buildings,” “architecture” and “history,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, especially “place,” “pictures” and “history.” There are also frequent spelling and word-choice problems, such as “famouse,” “beaty,” “counter productive” and “lost the history,” which make parts of the response less clear or natural. Aim for more precise expressions and check spelling carefully. For example, you could describe visitors as “focused on capturing images rather than engaging with the site,” and refer to “preserving historical knowledge” when explaining the consequence.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause in “This is largely because…” and a conditional idea beginning “if people only focused…”. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence boundaries. Examples include “it create serius issue,” “the parks has beauty,” and “the society will lost the history.” The opening also begins a new sentence with lowercase “while,” and the final sentence is incomplete in its punctuation and structure. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and checking each sentence for a complete main clause. Shorter, controlled sentences will help make your ideas easier to follow.
