Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, there has been significant increase in that many individuals were visited famous places in today's time just for click pictures with eye-catching background. This trend has become increasingly common in modren society. There are several reasons behind this development. In my opinion, the development has both positive and negative aspects.
One of the main reasons behind this trend is social media, citizens are getting famous by taking photographs with well-known places like ancient and historical buldings, musuems and lakes. This is mainly because, they posted tht videos and photos in their social media to make memories and shared their experiences with their followers. Furthermore, followers are also plays an important role because high reach people can become influences and more and more public connects with you and get inspiration from you . On positive side, this trend allows individuals to explore different places and gain knowledge from that. For instance, one of my friend travels worldwide and now she is a travel influencers with 1M followers . Moreover, big travel agencies and brands collabs with her.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You identify social media as a reason people take photographs at famous places and give a relevant example of a friend who became a travel influencer. You also state that the trend has both positive and negative aspects. However, the response develops only the reasons and a possible benefit; it does not explain the negative side or clearly decide whether the trend is positive or negative overall. The example about travel agencies and brands is also left unexplained, so its relevance to your evaluation is unclear. The response is 71 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to address both questions. Develop a clear overall judgement and support it with specific explanation of both the causes and the trend’s effects.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introductory paragraph followed by a paragraph that gives a cause, an example and a positive effect. Linking expressions such as “Furthermore” and “For instance” help signal relationships between some ideas. However, the overall progression is incomplete: the discussion moves from social media to followers, then to a benefit, without a clear structure for answering both questions. The opening says there are positive and negative aspects, but no paragraph develops the negative aspect. Some connections are also unclear, particularly how becoming an influencer leads to “big travel agencies and brands” collaborating. Organise the response into distinct sections for causes and evaluation, and use clear topic sentences and explanations to guide the reader.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “social media,” “historical buildings,” “followers,” “inspiration” and “travel agencies.” These choices make the general subject understandable, and “eye-catching background” conveys the appeal of the photographs. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “modren,” “buldings,” “musuems,” “influences” where you mean “influencers,” and “collabs.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “for click pictures” and “high reach people.” Aim for accurate collocations and a more formal register; for example, describe people as taking photographs “to share their travels online” and brands as “partnering with” an influencer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “This is mainly because,” and use a range of basic structures to present reasons and an example. However, control is inconsistent, and several errors make parts of the response difficult to follow. For example, “there has been significant increase in that many individuals were visited” has problems with the article, construction and verb form; “followers are also plays” has faulty agreement; and “one of my friend travels” has an incorrect singular/plural form. The comma splice in “social media, citizens are getting famous” also needs correction. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected explanation, checking tense, agreement and articles.
