IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Louis,

I hope you are in great spirits!. I am writing to request your assistance regarding International food event, which is going to held on next month.

My name is Mehak and I have been a member of International Students club for the two years. As you of it, I would like to participate in that food event. I am so excited to present my country. Initially, I would present the famous dish of my country called 'Panipuri'. It makes through the mixture of crispy shells, boiled potatoes, chili flakes and sour water.

Furthermore, It could be eaten by all ages , each and every people of different cultures too. I would kindly request you to give me a chance to upfront my country through food festival . So , people from another nations will enjoy food and could appreciate it.

Thankyou for your time and consideration. I would seek a hope from your side.
