IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Luis

I am writing regarding club event as you know we are going to celebrate popular food from around the world.. So, in this letter I am going to tell you what kind of dish you have to make for this event.

I would like to make one of the popular dish from my country India there are so mony famous dishes in my country but here I would like to tell you just make the most auspicious and delicious dish butter chicken.

I would appreciate it if you could make it in authentic style as I made in India . so for that you have to marinate whole chicken in yogurt for atleast 4-5 hours before starting preparing it. Basically, it is curry that we can have it with rice or a bread . I request you to use Indian species to get that authentic flavour.

Moreover, it should be included in the event because it is the most well known and delicious dish of India and it also get too many rewards on the international food competitions. I hope everyone enjoy's it.
