You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I am writing to express an offer for preparing one of the popular dishes from my country on our event, popular food around the world .

I would like to make the dish Biriyani . It makes using flavoured rice ,vegetables along with spices .Initially ,the rice needs to soak it in the water to get a texture. After that, it needs to cook with the spices and vegetables.

All most all the states prepare this dish in a different styles because people are addicted to its delicious taste.

The dish can make a huge impact on people about Indian culture as the spices and flavours shows India's culture and family values. I would be preparing this dish for the festival , if you allowed me to do so.
