You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I hope you are doing well.

I am writing this letter to to take part in the upcoming event of making popular dish from the different parts of the world.

As you aware, I am one of the members of the International Students' Club. I am migrant from India. We are organising this great event of making popular dish to represent our culture. I humbly request you to please allow me take part in this event.

The dish which I want to make is one of the most liked dish by our people and it is Pani Puri. Basically, it is a dish which is made of wheat, potatoes and different flavoured water. It consists of wheat balls filled with potatoes and distinct flavoured water.

Fortunately, I also want to take part in this wonderful event which will aid me to bring our heritage upfront. Additionally, everyone in my country have water in their mouths when they hear its name. Hopefully, everyone will like its taste and texture.
