IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I hope you are doing well. I am very excited for the event and I really wanna try popular food from all over the world.

There is so many participants that make food from the country they belonged to that's represent their culture. So, I also want to participate and wanna make a popular dish of India which is Pav Bhaji.

The pav Bhaji is very delicious dish which is made by different kind of vegetables. Firstly, boil all the vegetables of choice and then crash all of it and cook in some butter. Then, add some spices and it is ready. It is serving with pav (Indian bread) and slice of lemon.

I believe that everyone will like this dish and enjoy it. And this dish will be popular globally that give my country a global recognition . which is very proud moment for me .
