IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Luis,

I am writing this letter to get your permission for installing a stall of the famous cuisine of my country in the upcoming international food event which is organized by our club.

I would like to present the most famous Indian Street food chole bhature. It is well known dish in the north side of my home country. People love this cuisine alot especially in the Delhi state. This item is mixture of chickpea and fluffy bread which is fired in oil serve with some pickles and onions. In this item the chickpea is combination of some spices and onion some extra spicy whereas the bhature is mixture of yeast flour and oil

As you know, in our college most of the international student came from my home town . If I present this dish in the event then it will be full of rush with audience. There is no Indian restaurant who provide this item very well. So our event will be successful because of this dish.
