You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I am writing to offer to prepare a Nigerian native soup called "OFE NSALA" at the International Students' Club. it is popular soup that is known in the south eastern part of Nigeria. The English name of Ofe Nsala is called "White soup" because red oil is not used in it.

Ofe Nsala is prepared by cooking your fish, stockfish, goat meat and other assorted protein of choice, then add your yam to cook for a bit. Remove it when it is soft then blend it to form a paste, Add the paste to the boiling meat, add your seasoning. It is served with Fufu or pounded yam.

I believe Ofe Nsala should be included because it represents the Igbo culture and many people love to try new local cuisine. it is not only delicious but it also aids in providing foreigners the opportunity to taste the eastern part of Nigeria meals. Also the event should diversify its menu by including dishes from other countries.
