You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I’m writing this letter to let you know that i would like to participate in this event by offering a popular cuisine that i will be bringing to the event from my home country. So, that i can also showcase the cultural food among other peers.

I would be bring the famous rice curry, which is a very popular dish in my country and it is a traditional lunch meal in every Indian household. The cuisine will consist of home-cooked rice with a spicy and tangy curry made of Indian spices.

This is a healthy meal with no major allergenic ingredients and can be consumed by any individual whether a kid or a senior person. Also, there is no restrictions and it can be enjoyed by all types of food eater such as vegan, vegetarian etc. This is very good chance to showcase my culture too.
