You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I am writing this letter to express my appreciation for initiative that your club has taken to celebrate the dishes from around the world in the upcoming event. This is the best way to enhance the cultural awareness and interact with the people of different nations.

In this regard, I would love to make one of the popular dishes to represent my country is Rice Pudding. Basically, it is a dessert Indian people usually make this dish on special occasions and to celebrate the festivals with the loved ones, which ultimately creates a strong bond between them. This dish includes only three ingredients like rice, milk and sugar and some people add dry fruits in it to enrich its flavors.

Therefore, I believe that this dessert should be included in this event, because it would allow other individuals to know about Indian culture as well as give an opportunity to develop new relations and friendship with the sweetness of the rice pudding.
