IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Student answer (Band 6.0)

Dear Luis,

I am requesting you to add a Rajma Chaval dish in the event because this is spicy food item loved by the Indian people.

As I belong from Indian cultre so in my clture spicy food items are play a vital role due to this I wanna you to add a Rajma Chaval as a dish in the event . It is very easy to make this dish . This dish required dried rajwa and sow them in water for 10or 12 hours to make them easily along with this it required rice , onions, and spices according to make it tasty. After that make them in pressure cooker.

I want this dish in the event because there are some people that are come from my culture and they are not abe to eat junk or non veg food so I want to make it easy for them to enjoy food in the event. I hope you understand me.
