You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis, I hope you are in great spirits. I am writing to express my interest in participate in the International food Fest, I would like to present my country with our most popular dish.

My name is Mehakjot Singh, and I am a member of an international students' club for the past 2 years. Recently, I have seen an article about the festival in the library. So, I would like to participate in it with our country special food item called 'panipuri'.

Panipuri is a mixture of crispy flour shells, boiled potatoes, and sweet water. It is enjoyed by the people of all ages. Although there are several Main courses, panipuri is the most popular food item in appetizer. Furthermore, this is the only dish which could be enjoyed while eating by various nationalities without any dissatisfaction. In addition, It gives the taste of our culture to them.

I would kindly request you to give me a chance for this special event. I hope for a positive prompt response.
