You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Luis,

I am writing to address a request for a food counter at our International Students Club event to be held with globally invited students.

At the counter, I would like to present an authentic Gujarati dish called Vada Pav. This dish is very famous, with a blend of spicy and tangy tastes. It is basically made from boiled potatoes, which are smashed and mixed with spices like salt, flakes, asafoetida, crushed green chilli, and dry coriander. It is then fried in oil at medium temperature in round balls dipped in a flour batter. It is then served with a round bun, along with a tangy Amli sauce.

The food plate would be enjoyed by people of all age groups, including parents who will join our event, and also by those who are allergic to such ingredients; we can alter the spices according to the students' needs, as we will fry those balls fresh all the time.
