You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Luis,

I am writing this letter regarding an event organized to celebrate popular food from around the world. I found it very interesting, because it will help everyone to know about different dishes of different communities. I would also like to take part in this event and would like to serve a traditional dish of my country.

Well there are so many popular and delicious dishes those are famous in my hometown. But, personally I thought of making maki di roti with sarso da saag which is the most famous and loving dish of my country. The maki di roti is made of corn flour, they are baked as round chapaties and the sarso da saag is made of green spinach which is also healthy.

I talked to everyone regarding the dishes they are going to include, I found that each of them are going to make spicy and western food. So, i just decided to make healthy and lighter food.
