IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

DEAR SIR

I am writing this letter in regards to offer a very famous dish from my country to enhance the popularity of your event.

First and foremost ,I would like to mention you that as being a member of students club I m very fortunate and excited to be a part of your event. Not only this but also, I came to know your event is celebrating popular dishes around the globe. So as I belong to India and fried rice is very popular in my country and I wish to serve in your event.

Moreover, This dish is highly recommended to all age groups as it is made of all fresh vegetables which includes tomatoes, potatoes, garlic ,green pepper and regular spices as per taste.

This should be included in the event because of its high protein value and it is much better from junk food. Another significant reason is cost. This dish is budget friendly and affordable for everyone.
