You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Luis,

Hope you are doing well. I am happy to hear that our club is organizing a food festival. As a member, I am excited to contribute to our club.

I heard that the event is going to take place at East Acton in London. My uncle is working as a chef in a Indian restaurant, I learned to make some Indian dishes from him. I thought that it would be great if Indian cuisines is also included in the event.

I thought of making a dish called Tandoori Chicken, it is one of the popular dish in India. The chicken is marinated with plenty of spices and masalas and then it is grilled in direct flame.

This dish is different from British and European cuisines. So people coming to the festival would be more likely to enjoy this. It is quite spicy and flavorful, which is rare combination of taste in the local cuisine.
