You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I am writing to describe my interest in the event that is going to be hosted for popular food from around the world. I recently got to know we need to register our names to become a part of this event and I would be delighted to join the celebration.

I am planning to cook Pav-Bhaji. This is a popular food from Gujarat, India. Pav means bread and Bhaji refers to a mix of vegetables like tomato, potato, peas, carrot, beetroot, cauliflower etc added with various spices. Additionally, this is a fulfilling dish which is also rich in nutrients and fiber.

I believe this should be included in the event because nobody comes from the western part of India and I am sure this will be the very first times everyone will be trying this recipe.
