This is one of the most loveable dish in whole india specially in north side of the country. The dish is basically a curry of cholle( chicpeas) with richness of spices in it and the bhature is made with flour we use at home.

I personally believe that this dish should be included because i want to share the taste of my country with the whole community which will be present there in the event. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt. You clearly offered to make a dish, described it as a chickpea curry with spices and flour-based bread, and explained its cultural value as a way to connect with the community. The tone is appropriate for a letter to an event organiser. However, the development of ideas is somewhat basic. To reach a higher band, you could provide more vivid descriptions of the dish's flavor profile or explain the social benefits of the event in greater detail. The purpose of the letter is clear, and the response is well-focused on the task requirements.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter follows a logical structure, with an introduction, body paragraphs for the description and justification, and a closing. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'The name of the dish is' and 'I personally believe that'. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions are missing or repetitive. For instance, the transition between the description of the dish and the justification could be smoother. Paragraphing is present, but the connection between ideas could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to create a more natural, flowing narrative.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'international student's club', 'richness of spices', and 'opportunity'. There are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'loveable dish' (should be 'beloved' or 'popular') and 'north side of the country' (should be 'northern part'). You also have some spelling errors, such as 'cholle' and 'chicpeas'. While these errors do not impede communication, they limit the precision of your writing. To improve, focus on using more sophisticated adjectives and ensuring correct spelling of key terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are several grammatical errors, particularly with punctuation and sentence boundaries. For example, the first paragraph is a run-on sentence that lacks proper punctuation. There are also errors in subject-verb agreement, such as 'Ialso thinks' (should be 'I also think') and 'make popular dish' (missing an article). While your meaning is generally clear, these frequent errors in basic grammar and punctuation prevent the writing from reaching a higher band. Focusing on sentence structure and proofreading for small errors would significantly improve your score.
