You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I hope you are doing well, I am writing this letter to share my thoughts regarding the menu for the upcoming event hosted by you. First of all, I am very excited for the event. I saw your invitation, where you have clearly mentioned all the games, food items, time schedule about the flag hosting and welcoming authorities. However, you wanted some help to extend the menu by adding various cusines from different country.

To be honest, I really enjoy cooking, and I would say I am quite good at it, especially when it comes to trying out new recipes. I am going to suggest a popular dessert dish from India, that is jalebi. In fact, this is a special dessert that is often served with a sweet white chutney, which has a thick, creamy texture and is absolutely delicious. As majority of the crowd is from Indian origin, they will of course love this item and on top theentire crowd is going to enjoy it too, at the end as a dessert after the dinner. I hope you like my suggestion and going to include this in your menu.
