IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Luis,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing you to inform about including Chole Bhature, a very famous cuisine from India. As every year, you have always added new dishes from different countries, this would really amaze local people with its spicy taste.

Chole Bhature, is a well-known Punjabi cuisine made up of a type from legumes family while adding special spices to it to make it tastier. While, Bhature is made from 'Maida' which is similar to a Naan. I believe this dish would amaze people if serve hot and as it is made does not consume a lot of time and efforts. This authentic Indian cuisine would definitely lighten up the event as it will attract more people to the event and try. I have a lot of my friends who are willing to contribute in setting up this popular dish.

I would really want this popular cuisine to be the part of this mega event and can't wait to hear back from you.
