Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt. You offered to make a dish, described it, and explained why it should be included. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat basic. For instance, the explanation of why the dish should be included relies on a general statement about tourists liking it, which could be more persuasively developed. The tone is generally appropriate for a letter to an organizer, though it lacks some of the nuance expected in a formal or semi-formal request. Overall, the task is fulfilled, but the depth of the content is limited.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your ideas. You use some cohesive devices like 'Moreover' and 'Because of this' to link sentences. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'I also verify the list and discover that all countries take part in the event exist India.' The flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that the logical progression between the introduction and the body paragraphs is smoother.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You use a sufficient range of vocabulary to communicate your ideas clearly, such as 'ingredient', 'represent', and 'opportunity'. However, there are some errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'take participate' (should be 'participate') and 'muchi appreciate' (spelling error). The vocabulary is generally functional but lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. To improve, try to incorporate more descriptive adjectives and precise verbs related to food and cultural events.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'when the foreign tourist come' (subject-verb agreement), 'all countries take part in the event exist India' (unclear phrasing), and 'I would muchi appreciate' (spelling/grammar). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they occur frequently enough to impact the overall accuracy. You should focus on subject-verb agreement and ensuring that your sentence structures are grammatically sound.
