You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

Hope you are doing well.

I am writing to offer to prepare a famous dish from my country. This dish is none other than Butter Chicken. It is the most popular dish from our country, India, to be introduced in the International Students' Club.

Butter Chicken is a delicious dish made up of tender chicken cook into rice creamy tomato sauce with butter and Indian spices. It is usually served with naan bread or rice.

The most prominent reason for this dish to be included in the event is that I believe this dish is not only popular in India but also in the whole world. From my perspective, this dish would allow students to enjoy the experience of rich flavours and the culture of Indian cuisine. Furthermore, the mild and creamy taste and rich flavours of this dish will make it enjoyable for people from different cultures.

It would be greatly appreciated to prepare this dish and share a taste of Indian culture with everyone at the event.
