IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Luis,

I am writing to you regarding an international food event which will be organized by your company next week at the garden square hall.

The program will start around 6:30p.m on Saturday and will last for 3 hours. Also, I am familiar that your team is going to prepare a one dish from each nation but I would appreciate it if you could let me make, Rice pudding, the most famous dish in my country.

In terms of the details about this meal, it is a sweet dish which usually serves at the end of the dinner. In order to make this we need ingredients like sugar, rice, milk, and almonds and it takes around 30-35 minutes to cook.

Lastly ,I am recommending this particular dish because it just got recognition in top 10 sweet dishes of the world and most of the students requested me to add this in the menu.
